This is Paul one of the lovely workers at Charing Cross Hospital and a writer and lover of poetry.He often pops into the Friends Shop on the first floor and buys a book or two at the regular Book sales (next one is 10th February). Paul was very happy when he found this book on Rabbie Burns just before the Bard’s birthday on 25th January. Happy Birthday Rabbie, “Some books are lies frae end to end” (Robert Burns – Death and Dr Hornbook), but hopefully the book on Burns himself has been penned with useful, truthful stuff.
